ahhhh i always try to avoid doing street drifting cuz of these things haha. things are probably cheaper over there though than over in the states.

Certain cars aren’t as cheap as they seem to work on just because it’s Japan. A GT-R is a money pit. It’s rewarding, but a money pit nonetheless. Live and learn. HICAS and a balance AWD don’t condone drifting, no matter how slow the speed.

driftcraze asked: heyyy, i have a question for you haha. my friends and me are planning a trip to japan soon and i'm wondering if it's expensive for food and travel there. we're mostly gonna be in tokyo. we also have a place to stay also cuz one of our buddies has an apartment for us.

The biggest expenses will always be meals and lodging. If you already have a place to stay, you’re straight. Food prices can vary. I pretty much survive off of bento from convenience stores because it’s cheap and I can’t cook. Still, you should be good as long as you’re not looking to eat nice restaurants all the time.

Utilize the train system if you don’t have any other transportation. Cabs get expensive really fast. Currently, the exchange rate doesn’t favor USD too much. It’s like 75 JPY to the dollar. It adds up.

Other than that, hit up Yokohama, go to the wangan if you get the chance, venture out to Saitama and see some real touge, check the street drifting in Odaiba. Tokyo is pretty epic.
